Pediatric Audiology
Family-centered management of hearing healthcare from infants to adolescents
Seven out of every 100 school-age children and 1 out of every 1,000 newborns are identified with hearing loss. Our Pediatric Audiology department offers comprehensive expert evaluation and management of varying degrees of hearing loss. We will assist children and their families as needed, from a single assessment to ongoing support and intervention. Our services include:
- Diagnostic hearing evaluations
- Newborn hearing screenings
- Otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing
- Middle ear function assessment
- Hearing aid consultations
- Hearing aid dispensing and repair
- Loaner hearing aid program
- Assistive listening devices, consultations and fittings
- Coordination with early intervention and school based programs
